Jeff Richards from SNL, MADtv, and CONAN: A Benefit for the Chesapeake Climate Action Network

with Grassroots Comedy DC and Natalie McGill

Jeff Richards has the distinction of being the first person ever to be a cast member on both Saturday Night Live and its rival sketch show, MADtv. He is a gifted impressionist with an arsenal of over 100 spot-on celebrity impressions including: Kevin Spacey, Dustin Hoffman, Donald Trump, Jimmy Fallon, Robert Downey Jr, David Letterman, Dr. Phil, Gary Busey, Bill O’Reilly, and many more. Even though his hilarious and pointed impressions were a frequent staple on SNL, his most popular and well-remembered character was an original, “Drunk Girl.”

Since his time in sketch, Jeff has been caught up in the whirlwind of the stand-up’s life. He has toured the country performing everywhere from small colleges to the top clubs. He’s also performed his sets on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Comics Unleashed, and NBC’s Late Friday

In addition to stand-up, he has taken on roles on TV series including Real Rob, Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Mind of Mencia, Flash Forward, and VH1’s Hit the Floor.

Grassroots Comedy DC

As seen in The Washington Post, Grassroots Comedy DC (GCDC) is run by comics that are passionate about two things: comedy and making the world a better place. We (along with the majority of Americans by a margin of 2.7 million, apparently) disagree with the Trump administration’s agenda on essentially all counts, and believe that we can do better (not “we” as in us personally- definitely not that! More “we” as in Americans generally).
